I'm so excited by this project of yours! I never read the entire Animorph series, but I remember it really fondly, and I remember rereading numbers of the books and finding them very exciting. It was probably one of the first times I had a strong fandom-like connection to something, although I didn't have those words for it. I definitely spent a LOT of time as a kid thinking about the different animals to morph into, and I think I decided I'd become a whale and just stay as one, like Tobias becoming a hawk.

It's really interesting to hear your perspective on these as an adult, and I'm really glad you're enjoying them. I'd forgotten about the scenes of them petting each other when they become household pets, and that's adorable!
