Thank you for the note about the aging! I'll keep an eye out for that. Also, as unqualified as you feel with floral scents, I feel like the things about which you say "this is well done but not for me" seem pretty reliably a good fit for me...

I have finished testing my samples now and the winners for now are Twilight (lavender, jasmine, honeysuckle), Katharina (white musk, orange blossom, apricot) and Athens (amber and myrrh). This isn't so far off from what I expected, but the white musk working better for me than the others felt like a big discovery - the Katharina felt so sensual and lovely without being overwhelming. Athens too felt very clean and pure to me, and I think I will seek out more amber scents.

I liked the carnation in Morroco a lot! But in combination with the other notes I think that one, with Bastet, is going to be a special occasion and not a daily wear. White Rabbit really interested me and I want to test it again because it was surprising and complex; I also enjoyed Alice though my partner didn't like it on me. After another test, I don't think Blood Kiss is for me, alas.
