juushikaThe pig cage is built and my wonderful boyfriend vacuumed for me, so I finally have pictures of the apartment for you to enjoy. It makes me feel dirty to take images so obviously not artistic, and there is still quite a bit of mess in this room, but I hope you enjoy the tour anyway. Let me know if you have questions. Otherwise...
The view in from the door.
First, three panoramics of the main area of the apartment, taken throughout the move-in process.
Day one, dorm stuff only moved in.
Day two, some furniture moved in (desk, bed). I spent the night here that evening.
As it is now, with kitchen hardware, chairs and stools, couch, new pig cage. Still no table.
Want a tour? Starting on the far right is...
The kitchen. Laminate floors, plenty of lighting, large window (looks into backyard), lots of storage. Along with fridge, comes equipped with...
...large sink and...
...stove. Buttons are sticky but it works fine. The toaster and microwave are mine.
Next to the kitchen is the door that leads to the stairs to the main house and to the shared laundry room. Beside that is...
Bench with pig cage in front of it. Bench is ugly but has some storage under it. See? Still not all cleaned up.
Across from the cage is the couch (up against the kitchen island) and across from that...
is my computer. I can watch movies from the couch this way. To the left of the computer is the bathroom.
One side of the bathroom: sink, toilet, towel racks, and shelves. This part feels tiny.
Other side of the bathroom: large walk in shower with ugly curtain and double window. This is huge.
To the left of the computer is a storage room.
Last but not least is the bedroom, across from the front door.
Along with a chair and small bookshelf/nightstand, the bedroom holds (obviously) my bed.
There is also a built-in bookcase and...
a recessed closet which is small and dark but workable.
