I love people that poke me for more Sims 3 posts. ^__^ And so I present: er, more Sims 3 pictures! Nika's family, mostly focusing on Manson and Matson growing to adulthood, the improving quality of Manson's life, and the ... exciting developments in Matson's. With bonus Nika. (For the curiousNevera and Dakota are both climbing the ladders to the top of their careers, which is empowering but not quite so photographable.)
Ah, they grow up so fast...

Manson aged into an adult, complete with his father's ill-suited hairstyle.

Nothing a quick change can't fix. Manson is a right bundle, sweet and romantic and a little offkilter...
...and more than a little handsome. Yeah, I'm really fond of him. ^__^

The very first thing he did as an adult. Look familiar?

Some things just never change. Poor boy is still a worrywart.

Matson aged up not long after ... and came out looking too much like her mother. (And with horrible clothes, trust me.)

Ah, that's better. She's friendly and flirty and socially opportunisticand perhaps not-so-secretly evil.
There's something in her jaw and mouth that reminds me of Scarlett Johansson, actually.

Autonomy is fun:
Because it lets sims wander out of the house to play guitar in their underwear on the front lawn just before dawn.
(He was scared, too, because it was still dark out.)

Four a.m. underwear lawn concerts. They're the new black.

"Underwear party on the front lawn! I've got the entertainment covered."
Seriously. Three different days, all autonomous, honest to god my sims are crazy.

Underwear habits aside, Manson and Nevera have a couple more things in commonincluding a nose. (Better bigger.)
Manson took her idea and just .... ran with it. Ran really far. I've grown fond of it, though.

Speaking of Manson and NeveraI can't even tell you how much things have improved.
Now that he's no longer a needy thing in diapers, she's fond of him. She appreciates his music, applauds his lifestylethey still argue but they're also friends now, and believe it or not I'm really happy for him. Manson is maladjusted but he's coping: dating a nice girl, friends with the folks he lives with, mastering the guitar, considering a careerand best of all, on speaking terms with his mother.

Ah yes, dating a nice girl. Nothing official yet, but they're crushing hard.
So speaking of dating. Matson decided she wanted to try a boy/girl-friend on for size, so I sent her out on the town to meet prospectives. She was midway through a lackluster conversation when Dominic (remember Dominic? strolled into the park and I thought: hells yes. And once I reminded Dominic he was bisexual (easy to forget, considering how many men he's gone through):

Dominic and Matson hit it off in a big way. He's evil, she's evil; they're both flirty and opportunistic...
I see smooth sailing from here on, don't you?

So they went out to dinner. Nothing could possibly go wrong, right, random townie woman?

Everything is gonna be just fine.

Matson has him right where she wants him.
She's also, er, remarkably strong, considering.

Don't discount Dominic, though. He's played this game before.
(I wear my sunglasses at night so I can so I can...) Ahem.
Manson's my baby, but I'm actually quite fond of Matsonespecially now as she starts the long journey of becoming the city's most notorious heartbreaker. She's definitely developed more of a personality, as wellperhaps a more complex and unhealthy one that Manson, insofar as where his neuroses are largely self-contained, hers are all social, and thus they shall impact others. She's an interesting one to watch.

Plus, evil sims amuse me. ^__^
And yeah, I sometimes scare about as easily as Nika.
Which is where I left Nika's household, all growed up and on the brink of romance, because it was Sunday and I needed to get over to Ghost and Aaron in time for Monday mail. Big things are afoot for the boys, but I shall still switch periodically to Nika's household, so expect shorter posts more often or in quick successionbecause it'll just be easier to chronicle the two stories in separate posts.
