Meet Woof, the dog (with three photos).

Every day when the house is empty and I'm holed up in the bedroom, Woof sits at any one of the outside doors and whines, and whines, and whines. I've started talking her outside with me when I cut fresh grass for the guinea pigs, and today we also played fetch—it keeps her busy and helps wear her out so that she can nap. And today, I also took my camera:


Meet Woof, the dog.
Woof is the boyfriend's family's dog. She's a Border Collie/American Eskimo mix with white fur and black patches, a medium size and a bit chubby. She was abandoned by three families within her first six months of life, and is a bit clingy as a result: she's very social, very submissive, has separation anxiety, and bonds to whoever spends the most time with her—which, lately, has been Doug, Devon's father. But Woof is adorable, and very sweet. She's fairly intelligent, playful and social, and loves to chew cardboard tubes. And while I'm here and she's here during the day, we keep each other company—while I read or clean, she sits nearby and comes to visit me for pets.
