Ghost and Aaron: Master List | Next Update
Everything changes, everything stays the same... Social and very much private, trips into town and long days spent in the house on their own, changes and thefts and ghosts and bills and friends and sexa few more days in the lives of Aaron and Ghost.

Robert commissions a painting and when Ghosts delivers it, dear Billy tries to start flirting like they used to...
Ghost is having none of it. They decide to just be friends.

He has different priorities, now.

The boys meet up a the the park and
No, they don't need another sink. But Aaron's thefts tend more towards fun than logical.
(I mean, if I could fit a sink into my pocket, I might just steal one too.)

Aaron bonds with Cornelia Goth over the sprinkler in the park, because what else does anyone do in this town?
Cornelia cleans up surprisingly well, for a townie. (She lives with one of my oldest households.)

They boys have taken to harvesting produce when they can.
Some they eat, and some they sell. Either way it saves them money.

There are some things that no one should ever have to see.
I think I'll share one of them with you all.

The next morning, nakey-spirit free, Ghost pays the bills.
It bites a frightening chunk out of their savings. They're fine this weekbut it's a reminder not to fall behind.
(Bless the pay bills once per week mod for added realism.)

Aaron runs some errands, steals, yes, another park bench, and then the boys have all evening to themselves...

So of course the doorbell rings.
Only Aaron would call through half the house to invite someone inside.

Walking into the house, Dakota contemplates a remarkably familiar TV...
which may or may not have come from her living room.
(Dakota lives with Asher, Nika, and Judeshe's striking and one day I'll introduce her properly.)

As the boys hang out with Dakota...

They spend much of the time watching one another.
I adore Aaron's body posture. He was talking about trash at the time, just so as we all know.
They go to their separate beds as Dakota leaves.

Early the next morning, Aaron gets to know Gertrude.
She turns out to be a master of the obvious.
Not long past the pale dawn, with the day stretching long ahead of them, Ghost surprises everyone or at least Aaron and myself by initiating contact. Not that he never has before, but Aaron is usually the driving force in the relationship while Ghost, increasingly eager but ever patient, responds to and waits through Aaron's fumbling attempts forward. Methinks he realized it was time to stop waiting.

This time, standing just outside Aaron's bedroom door, Ghost calls Aaron to him.

They lean towards one another and talk softly, and Aaron has time to find his footing.

And Aaron reciprocates.

And initiates.

And what happens from there...

Is perfectly natural.

This is just to say that they're beautiful together.

After basking in the afterglowGhost goes to paint a ninja.
I don't even know what to tell you, but Freud would love it.

I shan't bore with pictures other than this, but Aaron was like this all through the day:
Sweet and smitten and constantly surprising Ghost with kisses.

They share a bed that night. I've never seen Ghost sleep so well or so long.

A totally normal early morning in this household:
Carbonara in pjs, and a casual ghost haunting.

The damn doorbell keeps ringingthe boys are more popular than they know.
But after ignoring Eric the whole time he was over, they stopped answering it for a few days.
(Eric lives with his partner Evan, and their friends Kitty and Cornelia, in one of my oldest existent households.)

Those few days they spend kissing, cuddling, and making love.

And these nights, when Aaron climbs into bed he's not alone.
So while everything is different now, it's all as natural as can be. And as for my anxieties? Though events and time have not erased them (I never do let go of worry easily), they have at least eased them. I am foolishly happy for my little polygon boys.
Random shots this go around:

Ghost painting in his pjs. Do want.
And having said that, the irony of the painting's subject matter does not escape me.

So for a bit I was thinking marriage, right? But then I was like, duh, what a stupid idea.
That shit's dangerous. Marriage means babies and I'm just not that dumb, you know?
(No worries, Aaron, my game is mpreg-mod free.)
And I've been meaning for a while to post pictures of the house the boys shareand now that I learned how to change the lens angle in my shots (I are slow learner), that's much easier to do. Ergo:
The one weed-torn lot on an otherwise manicured suburban street, the boys live in Jcperk's Parker Place, a modest but attractive single-story suburban homewhich has since fallen into disrepair. The layout and most furniture is as original, but everything has worn through, fallen apart, or quietly gone to seed after significant modding. Their house never could have reached its current condition without Guatla's Paint on Paint wood textures; Cyclonesue's Peeling Paint texture is also a great help (grab it here). All of my pics can be clicked to go through to the Flickr page where they can be viewed in larger sizesthat's especially useful for these.

Street view.

Layoutperhaps more useful large.

Living room, complete with TV-fire damage.

Kitchen and dining room.

Master bedroom. This is probably my favorite room in the house.
The house has one master bedroom (Aaron's room, now also shared by Ghost), one single/guest bedroom (Ghost's [old] room, but the real ghosts usually nap there these days), and one spare room which holds Ghost's easel and my photo studio.

Master bath, complete with deathtoilet.
The house has 2.5 bathrooms.

The backyard, featuring pool and never-used barbecue area.
(The dingy little pool explains why when Aaron isn't in boxers, he's in swim trunks.)

Sideyard, housing the klepto treasure trove.
Current klepto treasure trove: four lights, one coffee table, one clock, one vase, two outdoor chairs and chess table, one armchair, two benches, two headstones, one sink, one statue of Grim, one TV (in the living room), one car (in the garage).
The place may be a little beat up but as Aaron would say:

This is home.
(Spontaneous speech bubble while I was taking shots of the house. For real.)
